Battambang (បាត់ដំបង)

Bamboo Train (Norry)

រថភ្លើងឫស្សី

4/5

history  ·  Cost: $5 per person round-trip  · 07:00–17:00 daily

Why visit: A 4×8 bamboo platform on train wheels powered by a small motor — locals invented it to repurpose the colonial-era track. The original Banan line is more authentic; the newer O Sra Lav stretch is built for tourists but cleaner.
Heads-up: A bit of a tourist circus now. Best in the late afternoon when the light is gold.
How to get there: O Sra Lav station, $4 tuk-tuk from town.
