🕵️ Privacy Scanner

Every site you visit already sees more than you think. This scan runs entirely in your browser — nothing is sent to or stored on ZakGT’s servers — and shows you exactly what any website could learn about you in the next 3 seconds.

A website can only see what your browser tells it.

Your files, running processes, installed apps, and full system health are completely invisible to any website — including this one. The ZakGT Host App can check what actually matters on your machine.

About the ZakGT Privacy Scanner

Most people assume a website only knows what they type into it. In reality, your browser hands over a surprising amount by default: your operating system, browser version, screen resolution, installed hardware, and — through a feature called WebRTC — sometimes even your real local or public IP address, even while connected to a VPN. This scanner checks each of those signals live, in your own browser, and turns the result into a single 0-100 exposure score so you can see at a glance how much of your fingerprint is showing.

The scan is 100% client-side. Every check — the WebRTC probe, the screen/hardware fingerprint, cookies, localStorage, and the Do Not Track flag — runs directly in your browser using standard Web APIs. The only network call is to ZakGT’s own internal IP/geo lookup (the same one used by our IP Checker), used solely to compare your browser’s declared language against your IP’s inferred country. Nothing scanned here is logged or stored on our servers.

Frequently asked

What is a WebRTC IP leak?
WebRTC lets browsers connect peer-to-peer for video/voice calls, and to do that it has to gather your local and public IP addresses via a STUN server — the same technique this scanner uses. A malicious site can quietly run this same check to unmask your real IP even if you are behind a VPN that only reroutes normal traffic.
Why is my score not 0, even with a VPN and cookies blocked?
Some signals — your screen resolution, color depth, CPU core count, and general browser/OS identity — are sent to every website on every request as part of normal browsing. There is no toggle to fully hide them short of using a hardened privacy browser; this scanner marks those as “Always visible” rather than a fixable setting.
Does ZakGT store my scan results?
No. Every check happens in your browser’s memory and disappears the moment you close or refresh the tab. See our Privacy Policy for details.
Why does a browser-only scan have limits?
A web page runs in a sandbox — it can only ever see what the browser exposes to JavaScript. It has no visibility into your installed programs, running processes, disk contents, or system-level security settings. The ZakGT Host App (desktop) can check those, which is why we point you there for a fuller picture above.
