ZakGT Food is the restaurant-discovery and food-delivery layer of the ZakGT Platform for Cambodia. Restaurant onboarding and menu discovery are open now; delivery is rolling out province by province on the same driver pool that already powers ZakGTaxi. Here is how it works for diners and for restaurants.
Q. How does payment work on ZakGT Food?
You pay with your ZakGT Coin wallet, which is the same wallet you use for ZakGTaxi, MySpace and every other ZakGT service. One ZakGT Coin always equals 1 US dollar or 4,000 Cambodian riel. If you prefer, you can also pay with KHQR, ABA Pay, or a Visa/Mastercard — the price is identical either way.
Q. Which provinces does ZakGT Food cover?
Restaurant listing and menu discovery are available across all 25 Cambodian provinces using province-first search, so you can search "Khmer noodle in Siem Reap" or "hotpot in Battambang" directly. Live delivery is enabled province by province as enough drivers from the shared ZakGTaxi pool come online in that area.
Q. How does a restaurant get listed, and what does it cost?
Independent restaurants and home kitchens list for free, forever. Restaurant chains use a flat 15 US dollar per month plan. You submit your business licence and a basic hygiene certificate; admin-verified kitchens receive a gold "Verified Kitchen" badge that diners can filter by.
Q. Is there a separate app for delivery drivers?
No. ZakGT Food uses the existing ZakGTaxi driver pool — the same motos and drivers who handle rides also handle food pickups and drop-offs, settled in ZakGT Coin. There is no separate delivery fleet and no second app for drivers to install.
Q. What cuisines and search filters are supported?
You can browse by cuisine — Khmer, Chinese, Vietnamese, Thai and Western — and narrow by province or price band. Restaurants publish their own menus with photos and prices, and search runs MySpace-style across every listed venue in the country.
Q. Do I need a new account to use ZakGT Food?
No. ZakGT Food uses the single ZakGT account you already have. The same login, wallet, order history and verified contact details carry across every ZakGT product, so there is nothing extra to register.
